[ZOSIA]: (DAY 6)

Let's begin: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit... Amen.

VIRGIN MOST ZEALOUS, by redeeming your Son, Jesus, according to the law, you did co-operate in the salvation of the world: ransom now our poor hearts from the slavery of sin, that so they may be ever pure before the face of God.

Most Merciful Jesus, who said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart” receive into the abode of Thy Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls bring joy to heaven; they are beloved of the heavenly Father. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God. God takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Thy Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of Thy love and mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Thy merciful gaze upon meek and humble souls, and upon the souls of little children, who are enfolded in Thine abode, which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Thy Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Thy throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, we beg Thee by Thy Holy Spirit and Thy love for these souls, Thy delight: bless the whole world, that all together may sing the praises of Thy mercy for endless ages. Amen.

THE PRESENTATION OF OUR LORD, 4th JOYFUL MYSTERY

CELEBRATED AS A FEAST DAY ON FEBRUARY 2nd with a Marian Hymn

TRANSCRIPT FOR 4th JOYFUL MYSTERY

MARY, MOTHER OF JESUS, BE A MOTHER TO ME NOW.

LEADER: “THE MOST HOLY ROSARY OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY”

LEADER (Adult or child): + In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created and you shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.

O God, who has taught the hearts of thy faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that in the same Spirit we may be truly wise and ever rejoice in his consolation. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

LEADER (Adult or child): The 4TH Joyful Mystery,

The Presentation of our Lord in the Temple

"And after the days of her purification, according to the law of Moses, were accomplished, they carried him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord: As it is written in the law of the Lord: 'Every male opening the womb shall be called holy to the Lord.'" (Luke 2:22-23)

We offer Thee, O Lord Jesus, this fourth decade in honor of Thy Presentation in the temple by the hands of Mary, and we ask of Thee, through this mystery and through the intercession of Thy Blessed Mother, the gift of wisdom and purity of heart and body.

(Offering composed by St. Louis Marie de Montfort, “The Secret of the Rosary” as read by Fr. Thaddaeus Lancton, MIC and Fr. Elias Mary Mills, FI)

FINAL PRAYER FOR THIS DECADE OF THE ROSARY (EXAMPLE)

Note: The Rosary & the Holy Mass can end with the powerful “Saint Michael Prayer”

LEADER: Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

LEADER:+ In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

R. (ALL): AMEN

ADVANCING IN HOLINESS with St. Thérèse’s Teaching on Childlike Surrender: Trusting in God’s Love and Mercy with the Faith of a little child:

Another way we can help others in our lives prepare for the 100th anniversary of the May 17 Canonization of Thérèse is to contemplate her eschatological reflections.

In this short BY FR. MARK GORING, he reads from Sister Emmanuel’s book on Purgatory (A theme for Season 3 of the Rosary Hour Podcast) and he explores with listeners the voice of a Saint who had childlike trust in God’s love. He notes that such Trust expects God to transform the soul, allowing all who come to Him like little children to experience the True Joy of Heaven:

But Jesus said to them: Suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come to me: for the kingdom of heaven is for such.” (Matthew 19:14, Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition).

St. Thérèse states:

“You do not have enough trust. You have too much fear before the good God. I can assure you that He is grieved over this. You should not fear Purgatory because of the suffering there, but should instead ask that you not deserve to go there in order to please God, Who so reluctantly imposes this punishment. As soon as you try to please Him in everything and have an unshakable trust He purifies you every moment in His love and He lets no sin remain. And then you can be sure that you will not have to go to Purgatory. 1

“She even said that we would offend God if we didn’t trust enough that we would get to heaven right after dying. When she found out that her novices talked occasionally that they would probably have to expect to be in Purgatory”, and “she corrected them saying”:

“Oh! How you grieve me! You do a great injury to God in believing you’re going to Purgatory. When we love, we can’t go there.”

Recollection, Sr. Marie of the Eucharist
Letter to her father, Isidore Guérin

Childlike Trust in Our Lady: re: “The Promises to Those who Pray the Rosary”

In the same way, if we learn to pray the Holy Rosary devoutly, we can trust that Our Lady will keep her Promises — let us review these promises to assist others we meet and help them approach this prayer with total surrender of a child:

https://marian.org/13th/the-fifteen-promises-of-our-lady

The 15 Promises of Our Lady to Those Who Pray the Rosary

  1. To all those who shall recite my rosary devoutly, I promise my special protection and very great graces.

  2. Those who shall persevere in the recitation of my rosary shall receive signal graces.

  3. The rosary shall be a very powerful armor against hell; it will destroy vice, deliver from sin, and dispel heresy.

  4. The rosary will make virtue and good works flourish, and will obtain for souls the most abundant divine mercies; it will draw the hearts of men from the love of the world to the love of God, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. How many souls shall sanctify themselves by this means!

  5. Those who trust themselves to me through the rosary shall not perish.

  6. Those who shall recite my rosary devoutly, meditating on its mysteries, shall not be overwhelmed by misfortune. The sinner shall be converted; the just shall grow in grace and become worthy of eternal life.

  7. Those truly devoted to my rosary shall not die without the Sacraments of the Church.

  8. Those who faithfully recite my rosary shall find during their life and at the hour of their death the light of God, the fullness of his graces, and shall share in the merits of the blessed.

  9. I shall deliver very promptly from purgatory the souls devoted to my rosary.

  10. The true children of my rosary shall enjoy great glory in heaven.

  11. What you ask through my rosary, you shall obtain.

  12. Those who propagate my rosary will be aided by me in all their necessities.

  13. I have obtained from my Son that all the members of the Rosary Confraternity shall have as their intercessors, in life and in death, the entire celestial court.

  14. Those who recite my rosary faithfully are all my beloved children, the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ.

  15. Devotion to my rosary is a great sign of predestination.
