A Reading from the Gospel of John, 17: 11-19
Lifting up his eyes to heaven, Jesus prayed, saying:
“Holy Father, keep them in your name
that you have given me,
so that they may be one just as we are one.
When I was with them I protected them in your name that you gave me,
and I guarded them, and none of them was lost
except the son of destruction,
in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled.
But now I am coming to you.
I speak this in the world
so that they may share my joy completely.
I gave them your word, and the world hated them,
because they do not belong to the world
any more than I belong to the world.
I do not ask that you take them out of the world
but that you keep them from the Evil One.
They do not belong to the world
any more than I belong to the world.
Consecrate them in the truth.
Your word is truth.
As you sent me into the world,
so I sent them into the world.
And I consecrate myself for them,
so that they also may be consecrated in truth.”
"Sobre uma carrasqueira, uma Senhora, vestida toda de branco, mais brilhante que o Sol, espargindo luz, mais clara e intensa que um copo de cristal, cheio d’água cristalina, atravessado pelos raios do sol mais ardente. Parámos surpreendidos pela aparição. Estávamos tão perto, que ficávamos dentro da luz que A cercava"

THE HOLY ROSARY | THEHOLYROSARY.SUBSTACK.COM
In today’s quick post, Fr. Anthony Gramlich, MIC (Assistant Rector of the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, MA), Fr. Nuno Rocha (Pastor on the Camino to Santiago in Portugal), and Fr. Elias Mary Mills (Franciscan Friar of the Immaculate from CT in the USA), help our Consecration Journey participants to understand the “why” behind our celebration of May 13, 2024 as we continue to reflect on how to battle the Spirit of the World for days 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 of this consecration journey. The other readings for the remainder of the first 12 days rests above.
"MEU DEUS" - A Prayer of Reparation taught by the Angel of Portugal
This post also helps you learn the “Meu Deus” as sung in Fátima on the first 13th of the month that represents the first encounter between Our Lady and the Shepherd children. See below the Digital Toolkit for Padre Nuno Rocha’s curated Terço which begins with this prayer and is based on the format from Fátima that Fr. David Michael Moses will translate in the upcoming post:
MONDAY MAY 13, 2024 | PACIFIC STANDARD TIME (LOS ANGELES)
Also, we present a quick 1st draft of our translation of the segment of adoration which was not translated by the EWTN commentator (shared for Educational Use Purposes only), and then we added the basic subtitles to the Song “Meu Deus” featured during adoration by the choir at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima today.
Here is the music for your use if you wish to begin the Rosary in Portuguese using a Hymn of Adoration and reparation. See the sheet music below:
DEEPENING THE WHY BEHIND OUR PRAYERS with SISTER ANGELA, Postulator of Francisco and Jacinta:
In this video presentation, Sister Angela, who began her talks in giving her checklists about the story of Fátima, looks for ways to understand Fátima and how to follow Christ with the Immaculate Heart of Mary. How can we be disciples of Jesus with the help of the Blessed Mother?
Fátima is a mystical and prophetic testimony. What does this mean? Watch the following video:
testimony because it is based on the life of two canonized children;
She explains how Fátima is a pilgrimage to Christ and how the secret of Fátima relates to these three areas:
Eschatology
Suffering of the World
Suffering of the Church
SISTER ANGELA FATIMA de COEHLO cites the memoir of Venerable Lúcia: “God wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If what I tell you is done, many souls will be saved."
HOW TO LIVE THE MESSAGE OF FÁTIMA? WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THIS MYSTICAL APPARITION?
Then, she asks:
How should we "live this mystical and prophetic apparition" that is the message of Fátima?
More specifically, Sister Angela explores this question of “How does devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary manifest in the lives of the Children of Fátima?” (and thus in our lives?)
OUR LADY'S MESSAGE TODAY
“PRAY THE ROSARY EVERY DAY”
The question of “How can we pray the Rosary every day” or teach others to pray when they perhaps do not have a tradition of Family Prayer is addressed in this post.
Fr. Anthony will explain more about prayer in the following posts as we battle the “Spirit of the World” which has created a rationalist reality without God (philosophers, artists, etc) and thus fighting against Him; we will explore this question of how to return to Christ with the help of Fr. Nuno, Fr. Elias, Fr. Peter, and Fr. David Michael in the coming days of this Consecration Journey.
Note: Dr. Josie Lombardi explores the Message of Fátima in this short video below from our 2022 Live Record.
Finally, Fr. Nuno’s Procession from last evening teaches the “PAI NOSSO” also featured on this video where he teaches pilgrims the words of the first prayer of the Rosary in Portuguese so that anyone can participate in the Rosary at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima:

The end clip is applied in this context for “Educational Use Purposes only” and subtitles provided for the same reason. All Copyright of the cinematography (altered slightly for this presentation of the “Meu Deus” belongs to EWTN, created by Mother Angelica who continues to inspire). NOTE: We ask you to pray for Mother Angelica if you read this note, and to pray for all those working to spread the Gospel through Eternal Word TV Network.
We are thankful to EWTN for having created this broadcast for the world and we hope that this small clip gives those participating in this consecration journey a sense of what happened at the May 13, 2024 ceremony.
We’ll post the homily (our translation) soon. For now, here is the link to the original Portuguese:
